There are key elements to our quality assurance plans.
Firstly, there are the standard elements of MUMTAZ RANA projects, ensuring the division of responsibilities between the project core team members (Team Leader, Supervisors and Project Manager). Secondly, there is a work plan – outlining the activities to be delivered and their time frame.
Thirdly, we recommend a regular monthly and quarterly quality risk identification process. This would reflect the need for MUMTAZ RANA and donor organization to be aware of potential drains on resources of the project that will affect quality and to formally establish a process for flagging these risks in order that they can be addressed and resources mobilized to ensure consistent results.

MUMTAZ RANA QUALITY ASSURANCE FRAMEWORK:
All major MUMTAZ RANA projects are managed by a triumvirate of Project Managers, Supervisors and Team leaders. For this project we will make sure that to assign quality and experience project team staff as the previous experiences shown that the project benefits from greater management. The roles of the three key project management positions are as follows:
Project Manager: Provide strategic guidelines, resolve disputes, takes ultimate responsibility of the project performance and oversees the implementation of the project’s quality assurance framework.
Supervisor: Supports the Team Leaders in preparing project planning documents and ensures sufficient provisions of resources to deliver according to the goals and objectives set out in the terms of references.
Team leader: Directs the resources of the project to achieve the most effective outcome in relation to the project’s terms of references, develop the team work plans, attendance sheets, manages the team to deliver according to the time and other specifications set out therein.
The following diagram shows the link between these key position’s roles and the inputs, outputs and outcomes of the project.

Just as outcomes, outputs and inputs have to aligned, the key positions of the project that manages this project have to work together to ensure that the project delivers according to the requirements of the client (Donor organization).
For successful project delivery, all key project staff need to work together. In cases where there is a dispute between project supervisors and team leaders, it is the role of project manager to find a resolution. In case of dispute with the project manager, MUMTAZ RANA senior management will be involved in a solution.
This approach has been successfully implemented in the past with good results and MUMTAZ RANA met the satisfaction of its clients as these results indicates that our approach to quality assurance works.
